...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GRAND TRAVERSE AND
KALKASKA COUNTIES THROUGH 215 PM EDT...

At 108 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Fife Lake, or 10 miles southwest of Kalkaska,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kalkaska, Sharon, Fife Lake, South Boardman, Sigma, and Smithville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
