The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point  MI 5NM off
  shore to US/Canadian border...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 243 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 15 nm
  northeast of South Point to 15 nm east of Black River to near
  Sturgeon Point, moving northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
