A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight, with a stronger storm or two possible, especially south of M-72. Locally heavy rain and damaging winds would be the primary threat. Potential exists for more widespread heavy rainfall tonight, particularly over the eastern U.P. High swim risks are in place for most Lake Huron beaches of northeast Lower Michigan.
