This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous levels of smoke from Canadian wildfires will impact
eastern upper Michigan through tonight. Please see the latest Air
Quality Alert for additional details.

The combination of dry conditions and gusty winds will result in
elevated wildfire danger into early this evening.

High waves and strong currents will result in hazardous swimming
conditions on some Lake Michigan beaches through this evening.
Please see the latest Beach Hazards Statement for additional
details.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon through tonight. A strong to severe storm or two is
possible with damaging winds being the primary threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

An isolated non-severe thunderstorm remains possible Wednesday
morning, particularly near Saginaw Bay.
