.DISCUSSION...

A line of showers and a few storms are moving across northern Lake
Michigan and will be moving across the Straits around 6 PM ET and
shortly after. A sharp wind direction chance to WNW/NW is expected
just ahead of and behind these storms. Wind gusts to around 30 kts
will be possible for a brief time as the leading edge of these
storms move through, with less gusty winds behind them. Occasional
cloud to ground lightning will be possible. Light, steady rain will
be possible for a few hours behind these storms. Locally higher
waves to 3-4 ft may be possible with these storms before returning
to around 2 ft or less through this evening. After around 8 PM ET
after these storms pass, winds look to return to south/southwest at
5 kts or less. Additional showers/storms will be possible late
tonight/early Monday morning, but chances are currently low with
high uncertainty as these potential storms are just forming over
central Ontario.
