.DISCUSSION...
This afternoon...Subtle wind shift from NW to more N winds possible
in the next few hours...though direction could vary to more NE at times.
Winds generally less than 10mph but could gust to 15mph or so. Low chance
for snow/rain showers now through 4-5pm; non-zero chance for lightning
but not likely. Expecting overcast skies to thin out through 2-3pm but
expect scattered lower-based clouds to fill in; mixing heights could
end up as low as 2500-3500ft. Afternoon highs likely stay in the low
to mid 40s; min humidity could drop as low as 40-45 percent, esp down
the terrain closer to the Carp River on the southeast side of the site.
Saturday...expecting any morning clouds to mix out through 10-11am but
could stay overcast till late afternoon. Afternoon humidity similar or
slightly lower than today, though 7-12mph winds becoming WSW in the afternoon
could lead to slightly lower humidity at the site. Lake breezes could
develop in the afternoon but may be less likely than today. Mixing heights
likely higher than today.
