...Elevated fire danger today...

.DISCUSSION...Southwest winds will increase this morning at the burn
site. Strongest gusts expected this afternoon, as high as around 35
mph. Afternoon RHs expected to fall to near 30%, but at least low
potential exists for at least a couple hours of in the mid-upper 20%
range.

A cold front crosses the burn site this evening. Winds shift
northwesterly behind the front and significantly diminish in speed.
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms possible with this
boundary, mainly this evening with chances continuing off and on
overnight. Much cooler temperatures and lighter west-northwest winds
in store for Tuesday, although RHs fall back to near 40%.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (20-40 percent) then becoming
                    mostly cloudy (75-85 percent). Chance of rain
                    showers and slight chance of thunderstorms late
                    in the afternoon.
Chance of thunder...19 percent.
Max temperature.....Around 70.
Min humidity........33 percent.
20-foot winds.......Southwest winds 9 to 14 mph with gusts to
                    around 36 mph. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms late in the afternoon.
Transport winds.....Southwest 20 to 28 mph increasing to 25 to 33
                    mph late in the afternoon.
Mixing height.......1000-2500 ft AGL.
