.DISCUSSION...

Hot temperatures continue tonight into Monday with heat indices
reaching into the 100s Monday afternoon. Surface dew points remain
in the 60s and 70s, which paired with hot temperatures is leading
to afternoon humidities dipping into the high 30s to 40s for
interior locations Monday afternoon. Southwest winds will become
10 to 15 mph with occasional gusts up to 20 to 25 mph Monday
afternoon. Thunderstorm chances return Monday evening and night.
An active pattern will linger through much of this week.
