...Trending Cooler and Showery into the Weekend...

.DISCUSSION...A cold front will sweep through northern Michigan
late tonight and into Saturday. Best shower and thunder chances
favor the Straits region. Breezy W to WNW winds expected, but
with some cloud cover and elevated RHs will generally mute fire
growth concerns for the most part. Looking ahead, sharply cooler
air builds into the region Sunday and into Monday, accompanied by
numerous shower chances that will bring a damp close to the
weekend, and a soggy start to next week... with highs struggling
to break past 60 in the interior terrain by Monday.
