Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
403 AM EDT Wed Aug 20 2025

...Rain-Free Weather through the End of the Week...

.DISCUSSION...

As yesterday`s system continues to slide east of the region, rain-
free weather will persist across northern Michigan through the end
of the week. Recent widespread rainfall has moistened fuels, leaving
low to medium fire danger in place for most areas over the next
several days. Afternoon temperatures will warm in the mid to upper
70s today and look to gradually warm heading towards the weekend.
North-northeast 20 ft winds between 5-10 mph are anticipated today.
No RH concerns are expected for the foreseeable future.
