.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and storms are expected across parts of northern
Michigan today, especially the Tip of the Mitt and areas along/east
of I-75. Best chances for showers/storms will be late morning into
this evening. Heavy downpours and lightning will be the primary
hazards with any storms. South-southwest winds between 5-10 mph this
morning will turn to northwest winds behind a passing cold front
this afternoon, increasing to 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph at
times through this evening. Highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s are
expected today. No RH concerns today with a very moist airmass in
place.
