Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
210 PM EDT Mon Aug 18 2025

...Shower and Thunder Chances Tonight into Tuesday...

.DISCUSSION... Showers will increase in coverage from west to
east through this evening, with periods of steady rain possible
through the overnight. Cloudy and wet conditions should carry into
Tuesday, and with some fresh rainfall coupled with cool
temperatures and lighter winds, anticipating fire danger remains
quite low through Tuesday despite a recent lack of widespread
appreciable rainfall. Looking ahead, warmer temperatures along
with dry conditions should prevail from midweek into the week`s
end... though cooler weather and additional rain chances may
return toward next weekend.
