Expect light winds (mostly below 10 mph) tonight to support
typical lake breeze development during the day and land breezes
overnight Thursday. Rain-free weather is expected through the end
of the week with overnight lows in the 40s/ 50s tonight and
daytime highs in the upper 70s to low 80s Thursday. Efficient
daytime mixing will drop parts of interior northern Michigan into
the 30% to 40% RH range with localized readings potentially
dipping into near-critical RH thresholds Thursday afternoon.
Mixing heights look to increase generally to 4.5 to 6.0 kft from
the late morning through the afternoon hours Thursday away from
the immediate coasts.
