...Windy as rain gradually ends today...
.DISCUSSION...Showers steadily end from west to east today as a cold
front works across the area. Southwest winds will remain gusty ahead
of this front today, easily exceeding critical levels at
times...with some of those gusts in excess of 30 mph. Winds decrease
tonight as they turn northwest, with high pressure bringing light
northeast winds Wednesday. This high will also bring rain-free
weather tonight into Wednesday, with rain chances perhaps returning
Wednesday night into Thursday (although latest trends suggest this
rain may pass across southern Michigan). Relative humidity values
will remain well above critical levels for the next several days.
