.DISCUSSION...
Northwest winds will quickly build to 10 to 15 mph with frequent
gusts of 20 to 25 mph by midday, peaking early afternoon and
lasting through the evening. Gusts along coastal areas could peak
at 30 mph. Drier air will continue to move in today, however
cooler temperatures will curb minimum realitive humidity values
keeping them at or above 45%. Slight chance for a few showers
today and tonight with a lightning strike or two. Last 24 hour
precipitation yeilded solid coverage of a half to 1", with several
swaths of +2 inches of rainfall. Less rain with very spotty coverage
over the Tip of the Mitt.
