.DISCUSSION...

Light lake effect rain/snow showers will continue for some areas
this morning, but will eventually diminish and leave precipitation-
free conditions for most of the day across northern Michigan. Cooler
temperatures will be in place today with highs in the upper 30s and
low 40s. North 20 ft winds around 5 mph are anticipated for most of
the day before going calm later this evening. No RH concerns are
expected over the next several days. Looking ahead to Sunday,
accumulating lake effect snow is expected, especially for areas near
the Lake Michigan and Huron shorelines with north winds in place.
Amounts of 4 inches or more will be possible for areas along Lake
Michigan southwest of Grand Traverse Bay.
