.DISCUSSION...
Light easterly winds today will turn more southerly going into the
day Tuesday and increase closer to 5-15mph. Afternoon lake breezes
possible but not as likely...with strongest winds currently expected
Wednesday/Thursday, gusting as high as 25mph outside of any
thunderstorms. It will become increasingly muggy and hot this week.
Thursday looks like the hottest day of the week, with high temps in
the low to mid 90s. Tuesday afternoon`s RHs will drop into the 35-45
percent range again but increase to 45 percent and greater through
the remainder of the week. Currently expect mixing heights to remain
at or below today`s values through midweek, till perhaps Thursday.
Best chance for storms is Thursday...but will need to watch for
upstream storms to try to make it into the region through the period
as early as Tuesday or Wednesday, especially closer to the Mackinac
Bridge.
