...Seasonable and Briefly Quiet...
.DISCUSSION...
High pressure moves in tonight into Sunday and expect some fog
overnight; may be a little slower than normal to burn off if smoke
aloft stays thicker than expected. Seasonable highs Sunday in the
mid 70s to lower 80s with lower dewpoints; afternoon RHs should
bottom out around 35-40 percent but could go lower in typical
downsloping locales; overall light winds Sunday with lake breezes
expected. Current thinking is with a little less smoke around, we
could end up with some better mixing Sunday (~5-8kft). Moisture
returns Sunday night into Monday ahead of another system; this could
bring a shot at storms/heavy rain. Winds likely strengthen from SW
ahead of this Sunday night/Monday and will likely draw smoke plume
aloft back into Michigan. Active and cooler weather hangs on into at
least midweek.
