...Occasional showers and a few thunderstorms into tonight...

.DISCUSSION...An area of low pressure will cross lower Michigan
late today. Widespread showers and a few storms will continue
in the early morning, followed by a bit of a lull. However,
showers will gradually start to return from late morning onward.
A few strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and
evening, producing hail and brief gusty winds. Otherwise, we
have south to southwest winds today, which will be a touch
gusty at times. On Saturday, breezy northwest winds will bring
in cooler and less humid air.
