.DISCUSSION...
Northwest winds will increase this morning with sustained 20 ft
winds of 7-12 mph and gusts 20-25 mph. Highest wind gusts are
anticipated across northwest Lower Michigan with less gusty
conditions expected across the Huron National Forest. Winds will
turn north-nothwest later this evening, eventually weakening to
around 5 mph or less overnight.
Looking ahead, rain chances, along with thunder potential, return
Monday night into Tuesday, largely tapering by Tuesday night.
This looks to be the next appreciable rain for the region.
However, how much and the spatial extent of the rainfall is still
in question.
