.DISCUSSION...

Another rain-free day is in store for northern Michigan today before
our next round of showers and isolated storms move in later this
evening and tonight. A cold front will slide from northwest to
southeast across the area tonight into Saturday, supporting the
chance for scattered showers and a few storms. Rainfall amounts
appear they will stay around 0.25" or less for most areas. Better
chances for higher rainfall amounts will come later this weekend and
early next week. West-southwest 20 ft winds between 5-10 mph are
expected today with occasional gusts to 15-20 mph. Lake breeze
formation looks to push inland from Lake Huron later this afternoon.
RH concerns are not expected over the next several days.
