High pressure across the Great Lakes region will shift east this
afternoon persisting dry weather through most of tonight with
increasing clouds and moisture. S to SSW winds become light
tonight before increasing Friday with sustained winds in the teens
with occasional gusts 25-30 mph by the afternoon. A warming trend
develops heading into the weekend, though an approaching cold
front will bring increasing chances for rain Friday into Saturday.
Highs are expected to push toward or even exceed 70 by Sunday
into early next week, with slight chances for showers lingering
beyond the weekend.
