790 NZUS99 KBOU 210401 OPUAPA Developmental Probabilistic Snow Accumulation Forecast (APA) National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, Colorado 2101 MST Thursday, February 20, 2025 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This developmental product contains the probabilities (%) that the given snow amounts (inches) will occur at Centennial Airport during the respective 3 hour or 12 hour periods. The probabilities indicate the amount of snow that is expected to accumulate on runways and other concrete surfaces at APA. [T (trace) means more than zero.] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discussion (20/23-21/23 MST): Snow will continue into Friday morning. There is still high uncertainty with this system as the bands of heavy snow will not cover a large area, but models have continued to trend heavier snowfall amounts towards the southern Denver metro area. The most likely snowfall range will be 5 to 7 inches, although as little as 1 or as much as 9 inches is possible. Snowfall rates of a quarter to half inch per hour are expected, but there could be a few hours of 1 to 1.5 inch per hour. 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MST more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 20/23-21/02 | 10 90 60 20 21/02-21/05 | 20 80 60 10 21/05-21/08 | 30 70 10 0 21/08-21/11 | 50 50 0 0 20/23-21/11 | 0 21/11-21/14 | 80 20 0 0 21/14-21/17 | 100 0 0 0 21/17-21/20 | 100 0 0 0 21/20-21/23 | 100 0 0 0 21/11-21/23 | 0 0" T or 1" or 3" or 10" or Day/Hour MST more more more more -------------------------------------------------- 21/23-22/02 | 100 0 0 0 22/02-22/05 | 100 0 0 0 22/05-22/08 | 100 0 0 0 22/08-22/11 | 100 0 0 0 21/23-22/11 | 0 22/11-22/14 | 100 0 0 0 22/14-22/17 | 100 0 0 0 22/17-22/20 | 100 0 0 0 22/20-22/23 | 100 0 0 0 22/11-22/23 | 0
