...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WHEELER...
SOUTHEASTERN GRAY...NORTHWESTERN COLLINGSWORTH AND NORTHEASTERN
DONLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM CDT...
At 122 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mclean, or 20 miles west of Shamrock, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mclean, Lela, and Kellerville.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 139 and 159.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
