...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OLDHAM AND
NORTHWESTERN DEAF SMITH COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...

At 433 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles east of Glenrio, or 27 miles west of Vega. This thunderstorm
was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Oldham
and northwestern Deaf Smith Counties.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 3 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
