This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Dangerous heat widespread across the Panhandles on Wednesday. A
heat advisory is in effect for the combined Panhandles, and an
extreme heat warning is in effect for Palo Duro Canyon until 9 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Dangerous heat continues for portions of the Panhandles on
Thursday.

Increasing chances for daily Thunderstorms from Thursday through
Sunday.

A fire weather watch is in effect for the eastern Panhandles on
Thursday for concerns of dry lightning induced fire starts and
strong winds from thunderstorms.
