.DISCUSSION...
Despite the still high temperatures over the next 24 to 48 hours,
neither elevated or critical fire weather is expected. This due to
high amounts of moisture expected to push into the Panhandles this
afternoon that could generate storms producing heavy to torrential
rainfall for the Southern Texas Panhandles. However, areas will
still have to be monitored as still dry fuel in our north may still
see fire starts thanks to lightning strikes.
