* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of a
  coating up to two inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of
  an inch.

* WHERE...Southern Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut and
  much of the Capital Region, Taconics and mid Hudson Valley in
  eastern New York.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation
  expected. Total snow accumulations up to two inches and ice
  accumulations around one tenth of an inch. For the Winter Storm
  Watch, localized heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow
  accumulation could approach 7 inches for areas close to the Oneida
  County border. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Southern Herkimer County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to
  1 PM EST Thursday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Thursday
  evening through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

* WHERE...Northern Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut,
  western Massachusetts, southern Vermont and the southern and
  western Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga Region, Mohawk and
  Schoharie Valleys and the eastern Catskills of eastern New York.
