...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
  inches for elevations above 1500 feet with locally higher amounts.

* WHERE...Western Greene and Western Ulster Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will mix with and then change to snow
  tonight and continue through Friday. Periods of snow are expected
  across lower elevations as well with amounts generally 5 inches or
  less.

* WHAT...Wet snow. Total snow accumulations 1 to 4 inches with the
  highest totals near the I-84 corridor and for elevations above 500
  feet.

* WHERE...Eastern Dutchess, Eastern Ulster, and Western Dutchess
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will mix with and change to snow over
  the mid Hudson Valley and southern Taconics between midnight and 3
  am.  The wet snow will continue through the morning commute before
  changing back to rain in the late morning.
