...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL COLUMBIA...
SOUTHEASTERN ALBANY...NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND SOUTHWESTERN RENSSELAER
COUNTIES THROUGH 200 AM EDT...

At 108 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Coxsackie, or 7 miles north of Hudson, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Stuyvesant Falls, Chatham Center, Coxsackie, Stuyvesant, Van Hoesen
Station, West Coxsackie, Ravena, Beckers Corners, Rossman, Malden
Bridge, Otter Hook, Stockport Station, Kinderhook, New Baltimore,
Climax, South Schodack, Hannacroix, Sunnyside, Cedar Hill, and
Poolsburg.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 21B and 22.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
