...STRONG WINDS AND ELEVATED WATER LEVELS FROM TUESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* Winds: A front will bring easterly to southeasterly winds
gusting up to 35-45 mph for the Kuskokwim Delta coast. Winds
will be strongest Wednesday morning, then decrease by Wednesday
afternoon. Confidence is high that this storm will NOT be as
  strong as former Typhoon Halong.

* Coastal water levels: Little to no coastal flooding is expected
with this storm. Along-shore winds could cause water levels to
be 1 to 2.5 feet above the normal highest tide line in coastal
communities during this morning and Wednesday morning`s high
tide. Previously flooded and/or low-lying areas may see a small
increase in water levels and could be slow to drain.

* Preparedness: Secure loose debris that may be blown about by
strong winds. Move items that are near the coast or in low-lying
areas further inland or to higher ground. Stay tuned to the
forecast. Help share weather information with people whose
communication networks may have been affected by the recent
  storm.
