...ELEVATED WATER LEVELS POSSIBLE ALONG THE NORTHERN KUSKOKWIM
DELTA COAST THROUGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON...

A strengthening storm system moves across the Pribilof Islands
into the eastern Bering Sea through tonight. Winds ahead of the
leading front will shift from southeasterly with gusts 40 to 50
mph along the coast early this morning to southwest behind the
front later this morning through this afternoon. As winds shift out
of the north tonight, winds will gradually diminish through
Wednesday.

The timing of the strongest winds will likely coincide with high
tide with the highest water levels expected between 10am and 2pm
today. Water levels may rise as high as 1 to 2 ft above the normal
highest tide line. The best chance for higher water levels will
be near the communities of Kongiganak and Kwigillingok.
