Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1400 AKDT on October 11.
.DISCUSSION...

A storm is moving across the area with light to moderate rain
expected through tonight. Ceilings and visibility will be lowest
on the windward side of the mountains of the Alaska Peninsula, but
will filter through terrain gaps over the forecast location.
Ceilings are expected to be in the 1000 to 1500 ft range with
brief drops to 600 to 1000 ft, especially during the more intense
times of the storm late this evening. Visibility will be about 2
to 4 statute miles. Winds are expected to increase through this
afternoon, peaking in intensity around 1900 AKDT to about
midnight. Gusts are expected to be around 40 mph, though a
stronger wind gust around 45 to 55 mph could mix down from the
ridge tops or through the nearby terrain gap.

Visibility will rise above 6 statute miles along with ceilings
lifting to around 2500 ft by early Sunday morning. Ceilings will
continue to improve to above 3000 ft after 0600 AKDT and most of
the day Sunday. Light winds are expected after 0400 AKDT.
