...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT ...THE CITY OF NORFOLK...THE
EASTERN CITY OF PORTSMOUTH AND THE NORTHERN CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH
THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Norfolk, or over Old Dominion University, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Virginia Beach, Virginia Wesleyan University, Norfolk, and Norfolk
  International around 810 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Bayside, Oceana, Rudee
Heights, Wards Corner, Princess Anne Plaza, North Virginia Beach, Dam
Neck, Oceana NAS, Gallups Corner, and Willoughby Spit.
