...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MECKLENBURG AND
SOUTHWESTERN LUNENBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Redoak, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Chase City around 510 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Fairview, Rogers
Corner, Spanish Grove, Finchley, Finneywood, Skipwith, Wightman, and
John H Kerr Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
