...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MECKLENBURG AND
SOUTHWESTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM EDT...
At 1053 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ebony, or 7 miles south of Brodnax, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Brodnax, La Crosse, Ebony, Bowens Corner, and Lake Gaston.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
