At 313 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from New Kent to near Ruthville.
Movement was southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
New Kent, Holdcroft, and Ruthville around 320 PM EDT.
Rustic around 330 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by these storms include Eltham, Colonial
Downs, Chickahominy Shore, Sandybottom, Diascund, Mount Airy, New
Hope, Roaches Corner, Kings Corner, and Lanexa.
