...ELEVATED NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS THIS MORNING ACROSS THE
CHESAPEAKE BAY AND LOWER JAMES RIVER...

A cold front has crossed the region early this morning. This has
resulted in a north to northeast wind around 15 knots with gusts
to near 20 knots across the Chesapeake Bay and lower James River.
This will also result in waves around 2 to 3 feet. The wind should
remain elevated through about 10 AM, and then gradually diminish
between 10 AM and noon.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should use caution.
