...GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN CHESAPEAKE BAY AND
LOWER JAMES RIVER THIS AFTERNOON...

Marine weather observations indicate northeast winds gusting to
around 20 kt in the southern Chesapeake Bay and lower James River
this afternoon, in association with cooler and drier air behind a
cold front. These winds will likely be of rather short duration,
persisting through the mid to late afternoon. Locally higher waves
of 3 to 4 feet are also possible.
