The Flood Advisory will expire at 1230 AM EDT early this morning for
portions of northeast North Carolina, including the following area,
Northampton and southeast Virginia, including the following area and
independent city, City of Emporia and Greensville.

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
