URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Juneau AK
159 PM AKST Sat Nov 23 2024

...POSSIBLE HEAVY SNOW FOR PELICAN TO JUNEAU...

.Moisture from a system moving in from the west will clash with
established stable, dry air to produce heavy snow for the Icy
Strait Corridor. How much moisture remains a concern for this
upcoming system, and will be the driving force for snow amounts;
however, the increasing trend of moisture from the Bering Sea,
along with a stationary front along or just south of Icy Strait,
has prompted the possibility for higher snow amounts. Stay tuned
for updates.
