...POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT LONG DURATION SNOW EVENT THIS WEEKEND...

Multiple systems look to move through the region this coming
weekend. Temperatures and snow levels are expected to steadily
fall starting Friday night across Yakutat and the Northern Inner
Channels.

Snowfall rates will increase Saturday with potential for 6 inches
every 12 hours and at least a 20% probability of 24 hour
accumulations exceeding 12 inches.

Snow is likely to continue through Sunday and potentially into
Monday as additional weather systems move into the region. Stay
tuned to the forecast over the coming days. Now is the time to
begin preparations for this potentially significant event.

Snowfall rates will increase through Sunday with potential for 6
inches every 12 hours and at least a 20% probability of 24 hour
accumulations exceeding 12 inches.

Snow is likely to continue through Monday and potentially longer
as additional weather systems move into the region. Stay tuned to
