...GALE FORCE WINDS EXPECTED SATURDAY...

A Gale force low in the Gulf of Alaska will move east Friday
through Sunday this week. Prior to the gale force front, a weaker
front producing strong breezes will move into Clarence Strait and
Dixon Entrance Friday morning. As the front departs to the north,
winds will briefly diminish before the gale force front arrives
early Saturday morning. Winds along the southern gulf coast and
inner channels will increase to 30 to 35 kts. The strongest of
these winds will be over southern Clarence strait into northern
Dixon Entrance Saturday morning with an 80% or greater chance of
reaching strong gale force wind gusts. Wave heights along southern
waters will build to 10 to 12 ft Saturday before subsiding again
Sunday.
