...SOUTHERLY WINDS INCREASE THIS WEEKEND FOR INNER CHANNELS...

A series of storms will impact the region through this weekend.
The most impactful system will move across the Panhandle Saturday
into Sunday as a low pressure system moves toward and into the
panhandle. Behind the first front, passing over the panhandle
today, winds will slightly decrease early Saturday for the
northern Panhandle but dont let this catch you off guard. By
Saturday late-morning, we anticipate most inner channels will see
sustained fresh breezes (17 to 21 knots) with some areas seeing
strong breezes (22 to 27 knots). Heavy rain will accompany the
winds over the next few days with the heaviest rain Saturday into
Sunday.

the NOAA Weather Radio for updates.
