.DISCUSSION...Generally light and variable winds, 5 to 10 kts, are
expected in Sumner Strait today into this evening. Current
observations in the area are reporting light winds. Diurnal
heating could increase wind speeds and wind gusts during the
warmer parts of the day. Then later in the afternoon, wind speeds
will decrease as we lose daytime heating.

Aviation wise ceilings and visibility have been holding around
VFR with 3500 ft ceilings and 6 mile or more vis or better
reported at Wrangell. Some showers possible through noon with
isolated ceilings down to 2500 ft and/or vis down to 4 miles at
times. Ceilings may lower to around 2500 ft overnight around 9pm
to midnight or later in some locations, but then improve to VFR
again Wednesday morning.
