.DISCUSSION...
Aviation:
MVFR to IFR conditions continue across the Juneau area from an
approaching front. Anticipate scattered clouds at 600 ft with hard
ceilings at 3000 ft. Heavy rain will also drop visibility down to
2 miles at times. Conditions will continue to diminish over the
next 12 hours, with ceilings down to 1500 ft and visibility down
to 3 or 4 mile at times from heavy rain. LLWS will also be a
threat, with 30-40 knot winds above 2000 ft.

Marine winds/seas:
Southerly winds continue, with winds of 10 to 15 knots, gust to
20. Cameras along Taku River/Inlet showcase winds less than 20
knots as well, with the sea surface showing small waves. Winds
will increase later this evening as the front moves in, with
sustained winds of 15 knots and gusts closer to 25 knots.
