No significant changes to current forecast: A low pressure system continues moving northward in the the Southeast Gulf of Alaska, currently located just west of Haida Gwaii with its first front extending from Sitka northeastward towards Juneau with a secondary front pushing into Southern Haida Gwaii. In Clarence Strait, current observations are indicating winds out of the southeast at 25 knots near Ship Island, decreasing to around 15kts near Lincoln Island with seas approximately 3 to 5 feet with near same conditions expected near the spot forecast location. Through tonight, rain showers will continue, winds within Clarence Strait and near the spot forecast location will increase to southeasterly 20 to 30kts with seas approximately 3 to 5 feet. Conditions deteriorate by through early Saturday morning with strongest winds expected between 10z to 18z Saturday as the secondary front pushes through the area, with the associated low moving west of Baranof Island. Temperatures should remain steady through tomorrow within the low to mid 40s with no freezing spray issues expected. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Cloudy (95-100 percent). Rain.
