.DISCUSSION...A fairly strong weather front moving through or just moved
through with surface winds 15 to 20 kt and gust anticipated higher to
maybe up to 30 kt for the outer coastal area with Peril Strait likely
showing east-southeast winds of 10 to 20 kt possible. Potential for strong
post frontal convection that has sparked thunderstorms to the north, but
some to move to near and around the Ski are possible to appear
overnight. Ceilings at Sitka are around 3000 ft and will continue to the
morning hours. Visibility in the rain 3 to 5 miles.
