.DISCUSSION...A front continues to move across the panhandle
moving from the north to the south. With this front, moderate
rain and winds of strong breezes (22 to 27 kts) are highly likely.
starting tonight. Southerly winds in Clarence strait will
increase to around 20 to 25 kts as the front moves south. The
strongest winds occurring late tonight into early Monday morning
with localized gusts up to 30 kts, as the front pushes into Dixon
Entrance. Fresh to strong breezes will then continue for southern
Clarence Strait into Dixon Entrance before beginning to diminish
Monday night. Throughout this time frame, significant sea heights
will continue to develop in Dixon Entrance starting around 5 ft
building to around 9 ft by Monday night. Along Clarence Strait,
seas will build to 3 to 4 ft with around 6 ft as you enter Dixon
Entrance.

For precipitation, rain chances continue to increase tonight into
tomorrow as the front moves across the panhandle with the heaviest
rain late tonight into Monday morning. It is likely to see 0.1 to
0.15 inch per hour rates early Monday as there is a 20% chance of
seeing up to 0.15 inches in one hour and a 35% chance of seeing
0.5 inches in 6 hours. Overall, there will be times of heavy rain,
but winds will be the more impactful element during this time.
