...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 4 to
  8 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 40
  mph. Visibility reduced to as low as one quarter mile at times.

* WHERE...Steese and Elliott Highways, including Eagle Summit; and
  higher elevations of the White Mountains near Chena Hot Springs.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Slow down and use
  caution while traveling. Resuspended snow from vehicular traffic
  could cause significantly reduced visibilities on area roadways.

Additional Details: Snow is expected to develop from west to east by
late Tuesday evening. The heaviest snowfall rates will likely occur
between 6 am and 6 pm Wednesday before slowly tapering off Thursday
morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle. The latest road conditions for the state you are

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM AKST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. For the Central Interior and Fairbanks
  North Star Borough, total snow accumulations between 6 and 10
  inches. For locations near the Western Alaska Range, total snow
  accumulations between 7 and 14 inches. Winds gusting to 15 mph.
  Visibility as low as one half mile at times due to falling and
  blowing snow.

* WHERE...Fairbanks North Star Borough, Central Interior, Western
  Alaska Range.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
