Total snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility reduced to as low as one quarter mile at times. * WHERE...Steese and Elliott Highways, including Eagle Summit; and higher elevations of the White Mountains near Chena Hot Springs. * WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Slow down and use caution while traveling. Resuspended snow from vehicular traffic could cause significantly reduced visibilities on area roadways. Additional Details: Snow is expected to develop from west to east by late Tuesday evening.
