...Light Snowfall Expected Across the Interior Wednesday
Afternoon Through Saturday...

As of 3pm Wednesday afternoon, a snow band has been observed
moving northwest into the middle Tanana Valley between Salcha and
Eielson AFB. Snowfall is expected to continue overnight and into
the weekend through early Saturday afternoon, though some areas
may experience some intermittent breaks in the snow. Colder
temperatures will yield dry and fluffy snow, with accumulation
totals between 1 to 3 inches across the Tanana Valley/Fairbanks
area. Exercise caution while driving and refer to Alaska 511 for
road condition updates.

Eielson AFB. Snowfall is expected to continue overnight and into
the weekend through early Saturday afternoon, though some areas
may experience some intermittent breaks in the snow. Colder

totals between 2 to 5 inches north of the White Mountains, Dalton
Highway Summits, and up into the eastern Brooks Range. Exercise
caution while driving and refer to Alaska 511 for road condition
updates.
