The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has cancelled the Red Flag Warning. * AFFECTED AREA...White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon River, Upper Chena River Valley and Chatanika River Valley. * TIMING...From 4 PM Friday to 1 AM AKDT Saturday. * WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent. Poor relative humidity recovery expected Friday night. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Lows in the mid 50s, except in the low 60s over ridgetops. * IMPACTS...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be possible. Hot, dry, and windy conditions may lead to rapid spread of fires. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northeast winds will increase Friday evening and continue through the night into Saturday morning. Poor relative humidity recovery above the valley floors expected Friday night. Saturday will be the hottest day of this stretch of fire weather concerns with highs near 90.
